PMP4482 is a full featured power module reference design including output UV/OV/OC and input voltage UV protection. It provides 0.7~2V output voltage with load current up to 50A by using TPS40428 and CSD95372. The built-in temperature and current sensors improve the accuracy and eliminate discrete components. It is also stackable up to another board to support load current as high as 120 A by easy connection.This solution provides the features such as prebias startup, track, current sharing and PMBus interface for flexible configuration.

The TIDA-01405 design demonstrates an inverting power module (voltage inverter) to generate a –1.8V rail at up to 2A of current from a 3V to 15.2V input voltage. Such a negative voltage is required for many communications equipment systems as well as industrial equipment, such as test and measurement. Using the TPS82130 power module enables a very simple negative voltage inverter (inverting buck-boost) design to create a 1.8V negative output voltage at high 2A currents.
